The refrigerant liquid is non-toxic, but do not try to use The Quick Pop™ Maker any longer. It should be discarded immediately.

If your fingers are stuck to The Quick Pop™ Maker, run them under warm water. Do not touch the metal part of The Quick Pop™ Maker when it is frozen.

Make sure that the sticks are inserted before pouring in the juice, and that there are no other ingredients at the bottom of the mould cavity (nuts, fruit, etc.). If the sticks are not seated properly, the Quick Pops™ will not pull out.

Multiple batches of Quick Pops™ are possible if done in quick succession. Too much time between batches will cause The Quick Pop™ Maker to defrost. The pop stick was not fully inserted into the mould cavity. Be sure the pop stick is fully seated in the mould cavity BEFORE pouring the juice.

The ingredients were not completely frozen or they were too soft for making a Quick Pop™ (ice cream, some types of puds and yogurts may not work well). Try waiting longer before removing the Quick Pop™, or use different ingredients.

Alcohol freezes at a much lower temperature than water, but small amounts of alcohol mixed in with your lolly pop recipe may work. We have had success with beer and wine, and some mixed drinks. Alcohol has a tendency to alter the texture and taste of the lolly.
Read moreWhy can’t I use fizzy drinks?
Carbonated beverages have a tendency to overflow past the fill line. If a mould is overfilled it may be impossible to remove the lolly pop, so we don’t recommend using them. Once a carbonated beverage is “flat” it is ok to use in the Quick Pop™ Maker.
